Preservation of critical items and documents

Conservation is a key issue for museums. The first step is to reliably measure the environmental conditions in the spaces where works are stored, displayed and transported.

Standard NF EN 15757 provides the key conservation instructions, which must be accurately verified using certified measuring instruments. Indoor air quality (IAQ) in establishments receiving visitors must also be taken into account, the main indicator of which is CO2 levels.

Parameters to be monitored

  • Temperature (20°C to 23°C)

  • Hygrometry (45%RH to 55%RH)

  • CO2 (800 to 1000 ppm)

  • Light

Data logging & traceability

Data logging & traceability

These stand-alone devices are easy to move and install. They record storage, display and transport conditions, while remaining discreet thanks to their small size, and can warn if set points are exceeded.

Data loggers are especially useful for compliance with insurance requirements. Their ultra-easy operation is within the grasp of any user, and measurements can be retrieved with just a few clicks, in digits or in graphical form.

Spot measurements

Spot measurements

In every corner of a building, as close as possible to the artworks, inspection measures require a portable measuring instrument for light, CO2 levels, temperature and hygrometry, to check that good environmental conditions are maintained.

Portable devices provide optimum mobility and battery life to manage indoor air parameters and light intensity, to protect vulnerable objects (deterioration of color, paint, wood, stone, etc.).

Continuous Monitoring

Continuous Monitoring

Our stationary solutions are high-end, full-time measurement instruments that can be connected to any type of environmental monitoring system (computerized monitoring, EMS supervision, building management systems, etc.).

Operating in the most demanding environments, our transmitters offer rock-solid accuracy and operating reliability for the four main parameters to be checked in museums, and are often equipped with interchangeable probes for the choice of parameters to be monitored.
