Server stability and energy optimization
Controlling climate conditions in data centers is extremely important for server operation and optimizing facility consumption. Reliable and precise, our measuring instruments ensure the permanent availability of these computing systems.
Servers are highly sensitive to overheating and humidity, so temperature and hygrometry must be closely controlled. Maintaining precise target values creates a climatic balance that favors free cooling, which in turn saves energy.
Parameters to be monitored
-
Temperature (18 to 27-32°C)
-
Hygrometry (and dew point temperature)
-
Velocity / Airflow
-
Pressure
Climatic monitoring
Climatic monitoring
Our multifunction sensors can simultaneously measure and transmit all the essential air parameters with extreme precision: temperature, hygrometry, velocity, airflow and pressure, while calculating the dew point temperature in real time.
Our Si-C320s can be fitted with hygrometry probes with a thermoregulated capacitive sensor, Class A Pt100 temperature probes, and a self-calibrating differential pressure sensor. In this way, they offer the long-term, continuous reliability and accuracy required for monitoring server farms.
Si-C320
For clean rooms, regulated environments and industrial VAC applications where a perfect regulation/monitoring of the air parameters is needed, our Si-C320 transmitters provide reliable measurements and allow you to achieve compliance with the strictest regulations.
The Si-C320 housing is waterproof, rugged and resistant to vaporised hydrogen peroxide (VHP). It also features a colour touch screen for comprehensive viewing and advanced control of measurement parameters.
In addition, measurements can be recorded and downloaded via the Sauermann Control application/software.

Airflow monitoring
Airflow monitoring
Climatic conditions also depend on good air distribution in the server room. Air speed, air flow and air pressure must be monitored at key points via our transmitters connected to the building's air management system.
Our hot-wire sensors offer state-of-the-art precision and sensitivity to ensure proper air distribution and avoid hot spots. Pressure sensors ensure that the amount of air in the network is sufficient for the room's needs.

Spot measurements
Spot measurements
Air flow must be checked at both supply and exhaust. The DBM 620 balometer is the perfect instrument for any type of air inlet or outlet, even for underfloor ventilation systems, thanks to its measuring grid system and interchangeable hoods.
Our portable devices can be used for all types of measurement, and are highly mobile to detect weak points in the airflow system. Some multi-function units, such as the AMI 310, use different types of interchangeable probes to check the ambient air, on grilles or ducts, and on filters.
