Optimum storage conditions
Controlling the climatic conditions in archive rooms is essential for document preservation. Paper is sensitive to variations in temperature and humidity, so rigorous control of these parameters is an absolute must.
With its various ranges of instruments, Sauermann offers measurement solutions to suit all requirements: from spot measurements using portable devices, to continuous monitoring, with measurement transfer and/or autonomous recording for data archiving.

Storage conditions
Storage conditions
Document preservation requires the control of several parameters: temperature (from 16°C to 23°C), relative humidity (from 40% to 55%), and water weight (from 4.6 g/Kg to 9.7g/Kg). These conditions can only be maintained by effective air treatment.
Temperature and hygrometry transmitters ensure continuous monitoring of these parameters, and can communicate with any type of monitoring system through analog or digital signals, or fully programmable electrical contacts.
Si-C320
For clean rooms, regulated environments and industrial VAC applications where a perfect regulation/monitoring of the air parameters is needed, our Si-C320 transmitters provide reliable measurements and allow you to achieve compliance with the strictest regulations.
The Si-C320 housing is waterproof, rugged and resistant to vaporised hydrogen peroxide (VHP). It also features a colour touch screen for comprehensive viewing and advanced control of measurement parameters.
In addition, measurements can be recorded and downloaded via the Sauermann Control application/software.

Air handling
Air handling
Good ventilation of archive buildings is crucial, as it prevents air confinement and evacuates VOCs emitted by materials and documents. Maintaining good air quality depends on air renewal, air diffusion and effective filtration.
Sauermann offers a wide range of portable devices and accessories for use on all types of ventilation systems. Measurements of all air parameters (pressure, air velocity and flow rate, temperature, etc.) are easily carried out on grilles, diffusers or in ducts.
Airflow cones
The Si-K25 and Si-K85 are airflow measurement cones designed for 100 mm diameter vane anemometers. These models feature a honeycomb-structured airflow straightener that reduces turbulence for more reliable flow measurement.
The Si-K25 and Si-K85 are perfectly suited to Kimo LV 110 and LV 130, VT 210, MP 210 and AMI 310 anemometers.
The Si-K85 square cone can be used with medium-sized air vents.
The Si-K25 round cone is designed for small and medium-sized round vents.

Data logging
Data logging
Good control of air parameters compensates for any leaks and stabilises temperature and relative humidity. Sauermann solutions are able to provide alarms in the event of malfunctioning control mechanisms, and record the slightest variations.
To ensure temperature and humidity stability in the building, Tracklog and Kistock solutions can track, alert and create a history of these measurement data with great reliability and precision. This data can be exported in the form of comprehensive reports to facilitate maintenance.
KT - TrackLog
The KT TrackLog Data Logger records temperature and humidity with high accuracy and consistency throughout the entire life-cycle.
LoRa® is a Low Power Wide Area Network. It offers a mix of long range, low power consumption and secure data transmission that is making our world a Smart Planet.
KT 320
Need quick access to data but don’t want to remove the logger from its location? The KT 320 Multi-Function Data Logger utilizes wireless connection via the Kistock Mobile app which allows for connection between the logger and a smartphone or tablet. It can also measure up to five recordable parameters simultaneously.
KH 220
The KH 220 Multifunction Data Logger is the answer when up to five parameters need to be recorded simultaneously.
Data Loggers are widely used in agriculture, industry and clinical laboratories to monitor a variety of parameters.

Metrological Services
Metrological Services
Rigorous metrological control of temperature and humidity sensors ensures the accuracy and reliability of measurements. Regular calibration detects any drift in sensitive elements. This monitoring guarantees traceability, essential for quality audits.
Sauermann's teams travel on-site anywhere in France to work on all types and brands of sensors. Our certified technicians carry out these calibration services using our test benches linked to national standards, thus guaranteeing the quality of the operation.
