Unlike many competitors, Sauermann controls its entire mini-pump production chain. From design to manufacture, everything takes place in France at the Chevry-Cossigny factory in Seine-et-Marne.

Sauermann pumps are designed in-house by a French R&D team located right on the test and manufacturing lines. The best components and materials are selected without compromise, with traceability facilitated by the advantage of ‘in-house production’.

2. Patented Dual Wave pump core: performance and silence  

Sauermann doesn't just follow standards, the company innovates. Its patented Dual Wave piston pump core technology is unique on the market. It uses two phases of alternating current to control the reciprocating motion of the piston.

The first beneficial effect is that the movement of the piston is much better controlled throughout its cycle, eliminating the classic brutal mechanical return by spring. Smoother and more regular, this movement preserves the components and prolongs the life of the pump, while also reducing vibrations and therefore generating less noise.

What's more, using both phases of alternating current increases the pump's energy efficiency.

3. 100% tested pumps: rigour for reliability  

This latest pump core is assembled by a fully robotised machine that carries out automated testing of each finished unit. The core is immediately put through its paces in hydraulic tests for tightness and pumping performance. At the end of assembly, the pumps are also tested by an automated machine to ensure that they are energised and start up correctly.

Upstream in our R&D laboratories, many test models undergo tough endurance tests: continuous pumping in extreme conditions, the equivalent of 5 years of intense activity!

4. Simplified maintenance and accessible spare parts  

Sauermann designs its condensate pumps for the long term. The durability of mini pumps also depends on their ease of maintenance. All Sauermann mini condensate pump control units are designed to provide quick and easy access to components to facilitate maintenance work by installers.

Many models also adopt the idea of a remote detection unit. As this is exposed to the first pollution from the condensate, it must be quick and easy to clean or replace if necessary, without dismantling the entire pump.
