Perché le pompe peristaltiche funzionano talvolta a secco?

I condizionatori possono essere associati a eventuali pompe peristaltiche (vedere foto) che funzionano a partire da sensori termici generalmente regolati alla temperatura ambiente.

Red and blue sensors within a probe are activated when a 5°C temperature change is detected. For example, a blue sensor is positioned inside the air conditioning unit and is activated when a temperature drop is detected, and the air conditioning system goes into cooling mode. During this time, cool air blows on the temperature probe and water is produced.

The red sensor within the probe should normally be positioned inside the unit but does not sense any temperature change.

However, because of poor installation methods, as seen in the image, sensors often detect warmer temperatures than the actual temperature and can be activated when the system is not in cooling mode. This leaves the peristaltic pump functioning with no water present (running dry). As a result, peristaltic pumps run too frequently and often without water. Running dry for these long periods of time causes motor damage and can increase sound levels. These problems can cause system failure and water leakage/damage.

What is the solution for this problem? Sauermann`s Si-30 Detect+ mini condensate removal pump is a much more reliable pump for installers! The Si-30 Detect+ contains a heavy-duty electronic detection unit for controlling on/off and alarm functions. It has been constructed without a water-based float, and this new design tolerates biofilm and reduces the need for regular cleaning, as well as lessening the potential for leaks. Easy to install with its sleek design that fits inside the unit, and very quiet in operation, this pump will give you peace and mind.
