Note:The blog below includes information from the Sauermann Group`s Kimo brand. A recognised leader of portable and fixed measurement equipment for over 30 years, Kimo provides a wide range of measuring solutions for pressure, temperature, humidity, air velocity, airflow, gas analysis, air quality, sound level, and other parameters. In 2015, Kimo joined the Sauermann Group. The Group operates two main brands: Sauermann for condensate removal pumps (including accessories and solution kits) and instruments for improving indoor air quality, and Kimo for instruments aimed at measuring and monitoring air parameters.

INsights recently talked with Min Jo Kim, the president of KIMO COREA Co., Ltd, about the indoor air quality (IAQ) market in South Korea.

Kim mentioned the Korean IAQ industry is becoming very competitive. Consumers are looking for the latest and most cost-efficient products in the market.

Kimo Corea was established in 2006 and has developed strong relationships with a number of key sectors in Korea, especially in the industrial and manufacturing sectors. They regularly deal with large and well known companies such as Samsung, Hyundai, LG, Kia, POSCO, etc., as well as various government entities, universities, and the med-tech sector.

In 2011, they were awarded the Best Seller of the Year award by Kimo. In 2016, they were honoured to host the Sauermann Group`s CEO, Serge Bohyn, and look forward to further developing this relationship.

Korea has a strong and dynamic high-growth economy, including a robust IAQ sector. There are plenty of opportunities for selling measuring instruments in Korea, especially for popular Kimo devices such as portables, dataloggers, sensor transmitters, gas analysers, airflow meters, multi-functional instruments, etc.

With Kimo now joining forces with the Sauermann Group, there are also opportunities to sell Sauermann condensate pump solutions.
